Max Ghosts Space Ghost in Latest Cultural Purge

Max Removes Space Ghost

Max, the streaming platform formerly known as HBO Max, has now recently removed the classic Adult Swim series Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The series was a cultural gem having such guests as Björk, Thom Yorke, and others on as guests through the years. Based on a 1960s Hanna-Barbera series, the show was known for its dry, slapstick satire of talkshows before the likes of The Eric Andre Show.

This follows in a series of distasteful actions from Warner Bros media executive David Zaslav. Beloved series such as Looney Tunes, Sesame Street, and many more have been gutted by the network in recent times. Recently, the corporation even underwent a name change to their streaming platform, taking out the brand name HBO. This was not well-received to the public who have come to enjoy countless HBO entertainment for several decades. HBO has been known as a cultural and creative apex in the television and film industry. Over the last year, after building up a platform with so much culture, Warner Bros has however done a lot to damage the network’s cultural perception.
