De La Soul Comes to Streaming March 3

The time is officially here. After decades of limited access to a legendary discography, De La Soul will be available on streaming March 3. Due to a record label dispute, it was widely publicized that De La Soul was being kept off streaming services all along. In a recent interview with The Guardian, the group stated, “It felt like we were being erased from history.”

This very quote is why access to classic, highly-regarded art is so important. Without that access, we are missing a fundamental part of history, culture, and community. Now, the brilliance of De La will be accessible for future generations. Now that member Trugoy the Dove has passed, this is all so important and an important moment in Hip-Hop culture and history.
